Wayne Martin is no stranger to the sport of rodeo. His mother and father, Ron & Kathy Martin began a rodeo lifestyle back in the early 60’s producing rodeos in upstate New York. Back then the dude ranch experience was thriving. They produced a weekly rodeo where Wayne began his learning experience at the age of 5. He was always one step behind his Dad learning what it took to produce rodeos. Wayne Martin is a gold card member of the PRCA. He managed the day to day operations of the family business of which produced PRCA rodeos up and down the east coast from Florida to Maine since he was 18. He was voted the top Pick-Up Man by the bareback and bronc riders in the First Frontier Circuit Finals for over 15 years. Wayne has done his share of rodeo events as well. He has worked both ends of the arena as well as produce the show. He has competed in the events of calf roping, team roping, and in his younger year‘s, bareback riding. The Double M Pro Rodeo has been talking place at the Double M since 1987 holding rodeos every Friday Night in July and August . Wayne and his wife Cindy work year round to bring to you the rodeos today. It is important for us to bring to you a place where the whole family can come for an evening of entertainment like no other . It has become a place for family traditions. People who were once brought to the Double M by their parents are now bringing their own children. Wayne and Cindy’s daughter, Jessica –age 8 is now helping with the family tradition. She opens the rodeo with “Old Glory” a salute to the American Flag.
